Brandon Sklenar lived an animal lover’s dream on the set of his new movie. PEOPLE has an exclusive first look at Sklenar, 36, in the upcoming modern Western The Rescue, in which he plays a former rodeo cowboy who sets out to find his daughter after she is kidnapped. Sklenar is no stranger to the genre, having starred in the Yellowstone spinoff 1923. But his latest project offered a unique perk: spending much of his time on set alongside two animal costars — a dog and a horse — who accompany his character throughout the film.
